The signs are there to hint that United are going to be active in this window, and after Eddie Nketiah and Jack Clarke’s recall, the Whites have space in their squad for another loanee.

The first thing to note is that Illan Meslier starts between the sticks.
The Frenchman earned plaudits from the fans for his performance against Arsenal, and there’s every chance that Kiko Casilla could be banned at some point this month.
The back four remains relatively similar, but Stuart Dallas moves to left-back to accommodate a new signing in the midfield.

Jack Harrison, Mateusz Klich and Kalvin Phillips retain their places, but Luke Freeman takes up the other central midfield spot while Pablo Hernandez’s return from injury could see Helder Costa drop out of the starting XI.
There are also changes up top as Phil Hay has stated that Leeds are still interested in Che Adams, and we think that the Championship Player of the Year nominee from last term could replace Patrick Bamford in the team.
