Here is a selection of Arsenal players who I believe are past their sale by date and that Arsene Wenger should look to replace…
Manuel Almunia
Arsenal have struggled for a top quality keeper since David Seaman retired. Almunia took over from Jens Lehmann but has too manyweaknesses to play for a side chasing the Premier League and Champions League.

Emmanuel Eboue
The full-back initially impressed when he first joined but the manager chose to replace him with Bacary Sagna. Since then he has not been able to hold down a regular place. He is still a very capable player and has a value.

Denilson
The Brazilian has fallen down the pecking order at Arsenal. He has ability but struggles to be consistent and suffers from being very small and lacking in power.
How much? £7m
Armand Traore
The pacy full-back has shown clear defensive vulnerabilities and has little chance of a future at Arsenal. He is probably best in a wing-back role.
How much? £3m
Nicklas Bendtner
The Dane clearly thinks a lot of himself but so far has failed to live up the hype he creates. Has undoubted ability but seems to be more of a jack of all trades master of none.
How much? £10m
