West Brom confirmed the loan signing of Callum Robinson earlier this morning, but it appears as if Slaven Bilic isn’t stopping there, that’s at least according to Alan Nixon at The Sun.
What’s he said?
The Baggies responded to their defeat last night by announcing the Sheffield United man first thing on Wednesday as the 24-year-old signs for the rest of the season.
Robinson played as a winger for Preston North End last season but has been utilised as a striker under Chris Wilder, and that’s where we expect Albion to deploy him as he will provide healthy competition to Charlie Austin, Hal Robson-Kanu and Kenneth Zohore.
Next on the list appears to be a winger, Nixon said:
Change in fortunes needed
Bilic desperately needs to find some inspiration from somewhere to get the Baggies back on track as their title push has faltered in recent weeks.
They haven’t won in seven straight league games and relinquished top spot to Leeds United on Tuesday night. It’s been so poor that their 13 point cushion in the automatic places has shrunk to a mere two points.

Robinson’s 12 goals and three assists in the Championship last term, per Transfermarkt, offers up some encouragement as his fresh presence could be the spark that’s needed in attack, especially with the likes of Grady Diangana and Matheus Pereira currently absent.
Albion have been touted with a move for Mislav Orsic for most of the transfer window, but a deal for the prolific Dinamo Zagreb frontman appears to have hit stumbling blocks.
Where is he from?! Can you name which obscure countries these famous players have represented?
It remains to be seen what sort of winger they have in mind, but they face a race against the clock to push it over the line with less than three days remaining before the window slams shut on Friday night.
