According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter are considering a move for the Chelsea forward, who has struggled to find his feet with the London side since his arrival in 2023. Inter, under new coach Cristian Chivu, are planning to rebuild their attack after a disappointing end to last season and see the Frenchman as a reliable option.
However, it would not be easy for Inter to attract the 27-year-old to Serie A as reports Bayern Munich, having already held discussions with the player's agent, are also in the race. Nkunku was strongly linked with Bayern in January, and the Bundesliga champions have reportedly reignited their interest following Jamal Musiala's injury.

While Maresca has been giving Nkunku some minutes at the Club World Cup, Chelsea’s recent signings of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro suggest the club may already be planning for a future without him. Meanwhile, Bayern are also exploring other options, with Stuttgart star Nick Woltemade among the names linked to the Bundesliga giants. For now, though, Nkunku’s focus remains on the Club World Cup final, set to be played on July 13.
