Dortmund likely to sell Reyna this summerFailed loan at Nottingham Forest last seasonReyna also unsure of Dortmund stayGettyWHAT HAPPENED?
Over the last couple of years, Reyna's stock at Borussia Dortmund has plummeted and the USMNT star's failed loan spell at Premier League side Nottingham Forest in the second half of the 2023-24 season has not helped at all. As per Bild, Dortmund have now made the decision to sell the 21-year-old this summer.

Reyna made a loan move to Nottingham in January after not having had a lot of proper playing time at the Bundesliga side under Edin Terzic. However, the 21-year-old's fortunes did not improve with the Premier League side as he hardly featured for the relegation-battlers. Over the half-season, Reyna only saw action in 10 games for Nuno Espirito Santo's side, including two starts, for a total of just 230 minutes.

Speaking to the media earlier this month, when Reyna was asked about his future, he said: "As of right now, I'm very focused here."
However, Reyna was less sure when addressing the issue in Dallas ahead of the USMNT's Copa America opener against Bolivia.
"Obviously, just looking forward to next season, I just want to go somewhere where I'm valued and get to play a lot and have an important role on the team. Whether it's at Dortmund or somewhere else, I just want to find the best solution for myself," he said.
"I haven't really looked into it and of course, my team is working slowly behind the scenes. It's still early but all my focus right now is on Sunday and obviously the tournament coming up."
WHAT NEXT FOR REYNA?
The Sunderland-born American star remains a major part of Gregg Berhalter's USMNT side as they take on the challenge of the Copa America as hosts. He will be in action next when they take on Uruguay in the crucial final group-stage match.
