Loads of Newcastle fans have been reacting to the latest transfer news, as summer target Alassane Plea has spoken out about his links to the Premier League.
Newcastle were absolutely desperate for a proper goalscorer this summer, as Dwight Gayle is simply not a Premier League striker and Aleksandar Mitrovic was in Rafael Benitez’s bad books.
The Magpies eventually signed Yoshinori Muto and Salomon Rondon, who have combined for just one league goal so far.

According to reports in France, both Newcastle and West Ham did actually make sufficient offers for Plea, but he was not impressed by their sporting projects.
Fans are all too aware of Mike Ashley’s frugalness in the transfer market, and the owners’ lack of ambition probably played a major part in forcing Plea to look elsewhere.
The French striker has got off to a perfect start with his new club Borussia Mönchengladbach, scoring five times in seven Bundesliga games, and lots of fans have been reacting news of yet another setback.
