The agent of Napoli star Gonzalo Higuain has once again spoke out over the striker’s intention of remaining with the Partenopei, according to reports from the Express.
Higuain has been heavily linked with a move away from the Stadio San Paolo since the summer, with the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal keen on his services.

However, the Argentina international decided to stay with Napoli amid the interest, yet his agent and brother Nicolas Higuain reiterated that even if someone matches his massive £67million release clause, it would be difficult to lure him away from Serie A.
“We’re doing really well with Napoli,” he told Italian source TuttoNapoli.net.
“I’ve been in Argentina for five months, I’m not travelling around the world trying to sell my brother.
“If tomorrow a club arrived and found an agreement with De Laurentiis it would be another matter and we would talk with him about it, but from our part that intention isn’t there.
“We aren’t planning a future elsewhere.”
It was initially thought that Napoli’s absence from the Champions League would push the 27-year-old to seek for a new club, but Nicolas is adamant that the club are close to winning a major trophy in the near future.
“Gonzalo has had a dream of winning something big with this team from the day he first set foot in Naples,” he added.
“This year, we are confident: the team is doing well, they play with more intensity, they’re more organised.
“There is a special feeling [with Sarri]. Gonzalo grew up as a footballer and a person as the world’s biggest club, surrounded by champions. Now he is reaching maturity.”
Higuain has once again been impressive in the Italian top flight, making 15 appearances in all competitions and scoring 11 goals.
