The victory moved Marcelo Bielsa’s side to the top of the Championship table with West Bromwich Albion suffering a 2-1 loss away to Cardiff City.
And The Athletic journalist Phil Hay took to social media in the aftermath of the clash to discuss the importance of the result.
Hay branded the 3-2 win a “sensational fightback” and said that it was “one of those” nights where the team really needed a response, particularly when considering that they had failed to win in the league since December 29.

Next up for Leeds is a home game against Wigan Athletic on Saturday, and Bielsa will surely be desperate for his side to put another three points on the board.
